Took a few weeks off, and went down to my second home, the southern coast of North Carolina. I tried to make it a true vacation and not pick up the camera, but that'll never happen :) .. An amazing few weeks, with some amazing people that I hold dear to my heart.
Some of you know that my other great passion, besides photography, is firefighting. I am a Lieutenant and 10 year member of the Ruckersville Volunteer Fire Company.. I recently got the chance to fly to Appleton, WI to pick up our brand new fire engine, Engine 21. Now who would pass up a trip to a firetruck factory, every little boys dream, right? :) ..
