Miller Maverick

Awesome portrait shoot for Scrimmage Play Magazine at The Miller School of Albemarle. Andrew White is their 6'6" team co-captain and just committed to play for Kansas next year. If you get a chance, be sure to get out there and watch him play.

It's about the music..

Switchfoot in The Corner Lounge at the 106.1 studio before their sold out show at The Jefferson Theater.

HOO-tastic!

I had a lot of fun last night shooting the Hoo's! Great win for Coach Tony Bennett and his Cavalier squad. UVA defeated the #15 Wolverines 70 - 58.  Here are a few images from last night. As always you can click on the collage to see it larger. Enjoy!

My camera's pretty fast.. 10 frames per second to be exact. :) .. Here is a fun series of images of Michigan forward #52 Jordan Morgan sending one home in style. Even this wasn't enough to help the Wolverines. UVA beats Michigan 70 - 58! WaHooWa!

Down on the farm..

Spend part of Sunday photographing Martha Jefferson's Family Day at Nutmeg Farm. It was a great event, for the kids especially! They had pumpkins to paint, hay rides, and an antique apple press for making cider. I really liked the apple press, thinking I need to do some searching to add one to my collection :)

Yesterday morning I met up with my friend and fellow photographer Jack Looney and explored a little around Sugar Hollow. Here are a few images of the things and creatures that caught my eye.

Training for the future..

As a member of the Ruckersville Volunteer Fire Company, it's a pleasure to be able to document the goings on at one of the best and busiest fire stations in the county. This past Tuesday, I photographed an extrication training operation. Firefighters trained through the evening, utilizing hydraulic and manual tools for the evenings hands on extrication operation.
